Cedar Nook is a serene and stylish garden-level suite located within the Caldera neighborhood, just minutes from Red Mountain Resort and the heart of historic Rossland. Tucked beneath the beautiful Cedar View home, this cozy retreat is perfectly suited for couples, solo adventurers, or small families looking for both comfort and mountain charm.
Inside, the suite offers approximately 550 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space. The bedroom features a plush king-sized bed with generous closet space. In the open-concept living area, you’ll find a comfortable sofa, a Smart TV, and a gas fireplace that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere after a day spent skiing, biking, or hiking.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, including a stovetop, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, dishwasher, and a full range of cookware. A cozy dining nook provides a great spot for enjoying meals or planning your next adventure. The bathroom is modern and bright, with a fully tiled walk-in shower, and there’s an in-suite washer and dryer for your convenience.
Step outside and you’ll find a private patio overlooking the forested hillside, complete with a hot tub, BBQ, and outdoor seating. It’s an ideal place to unwind, take in the crisp mountain air, or enjoy a quiet evening beneath the stars. Secure storage for skis or bikes is available, and a heated driveway ensures easy winter access.
Guests have their own private entrance and full access to all indoor and outdoor areas of the suite. You’re just minutes from world-class skiing, renowned mountain biking and hiking trails, and Rossland’s charming downtown filled with cafes, shops, and local character.

MINIMUM STAY POLICY
4 night minimum stay Christmas holidays, 3 night minimum winter high season, 2 night minimum otherwise. If you see a 2 day window of opportunity between bookings on property calendar, please contact us!
BED CONFIGURATION
Bedroom 1 – King
IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
As part of the booking process, we will require that you agree to and sign a copy of our Terms and Conditions.
Approximately 3 to 7 days prior to your arrival we will email you, via DocuSign, our Terms and Conditions to be signed electronically. You are also required to provide your credit card details for the purpose of pre-authorizing a hold of $1000. CAD as a Damage Deposit. The pre-authorization will commence on your day of arrival and automatically expire after check out and property inspection.
Provided that you have completed and signed the Terms and Conditions, you will receive an email approximately 3 days prior to your arrival with self check-In instructions to the property.
FOR LONGER TERM BOOKINGS OF 27 NIGHTS OR MORE
This requires an Occupancy Agreement to be signed along with a non-refundable deposit equal to one month's rent and a Property Condition Guarantee (50% of monthly rental rate) required to be paid.
Cleaning fees charged for longer term stays go towards the departure clean at the end of your stay, additional cleaning charges may apply depending on the state of the property upon check out.
Please note that toiletries and laundry detergent are not supplied for long term bookings. Starter supplies including toilet paper, dishwasher tabs and garbage bags are provided.

PLEASE NOTE! Due to changes in BC Government legislation, the period defined as a short term rental will be 27 DAYS OR LESS as of MAY 1, 2024. The rates below do not include tax. Taxes of 5% (GST), 8% (PST) and 3% (MRDT) are only charged on short term rentals. If booking more than 4 weeks from arrival, a 25% deposit is required for confirmation. If booking less than 30 days to arrival, then payment is due in full. No taxes are charged on monthly rental amounts, for monthly rates, please call 250-362-5556 or email stay@mountaintownproperties.ca.
